Nia Biggs was born and raised in the historic Hampton Roads area of Virginia, to her resilient, strong, and fun-loving parents. As the youngest of five siblings, she is cherished as their little sister. For the past fifteen and a half years, Nia been a devoted wife to Deacon Obadiah Biggs and a wonderful mother to three beautiful children and two additional stepchildren. In 2005, she answered her calling by becoming a licensed and ordained Evangelist under leadership of Abundant Life International Church, where she focused on community outreach. The following year,ia graduated from the Abundant Life Theological Seminary School of Excellence as a Certified Minister in trainingDuring her training, Nia held several roles, including Vice President Life House Ministry, Community Coordinator for David's Army Outreach, and Minister of Youth Department. Partnering with the Newport News Community Service Board, she began teaching English as a second language through David's Army. In 2007, Nia established Genesis Women of Empowerment, a non-profit organization. Through impactful seminars, mentorship, conferences, and speaking engagements, she inspired many women to serve Christ. As her journey progressed, she influenced hundreds to serve God. Her effective leadership led her to the founders of Psalms Ministries, where she furthered her ministerial. In 2007, she became a licensed and ordained Minister of the Gospel, serving on staff in various roles, including Minister, member of the 1st Lady Board, Pastor's Aide Board, Intercessory Prayer Team, Deaconess Board, and Director of the Youth DepartmentAs a remarkable playwright, Nia debuted her first Gospel stage play, "Well Put Together Easily Torn Down," featuring a cast of 15 talented actors who united the community. The proceeds from her production were donated to TACT (Tidewater AIDS Community Taskforce) in Norfolk, VA, to help find a cure and encourage HIV and AIDS testing within the Black and Brown communities. Her production prompted many to receive free testing and gain crucial knowledge about the disease. In recognition of her efforts, Nia was inducted into the Hall of Fame by The Hampton Redevelopment and Housing Authority for Outstanding Achievement within her community in 2013. Where is she now? Currently, Nia is the Founder of H.E.R. Ministries and Mental H.E.R., LLC. As a Life Coach, she serves as a First Aid Mental Health Responder and a Certified Family to Family Facilitator for NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness). Additionally, she is an active member of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People). Her rewarding day job includes roles as a Patient Service Coordinator II, Wellness Champion, Safety Liaison, and member of the Black Employee Network at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, GA. Minister Nia M. Biggs was born and raised in San Francisco, where they realized their love for helping others at an early age. After years of study, they became a well-known Minister in 2000. As a devoted leader of their congregation, they succeeded in growing membership and increasing attendance at services.

Since then, they have worked with countless individuals as a spiritual leader and have developed a reputation as an impactful educator. They have a true passion for connecting with people and helping them navigate through life.
